Orientation Program Aarambh @GRGI

Global Research Group of Institutions, Radaur, Yamuna Nagar, successfully hosted a 5-day Induction and Orientation Program Aarambh 2024 from September 2-6, 2024, to welcome the new batch of students. The event offered a mix of academic talks, personality development sessions, and fun activities to help students adjust to their new journey. Highlights included talks by Ms. Harpreet Kaur on the “Importance of Soft Skills in Professional Life”, Ms. Dinky Mehta on “Self-confidence and Developing Leadership Qualities” Dr. Neha Yadav on “Stress Management and Meditation” and Mr. Simarpreet Singh on “Time Management”. The orientation program didn’t just focus on academics but also students’ mental and physical health. After the expert talks, students enjoyed a range of activities such as team-building exercises, sports, and cultural events, which helped them relax and bond with their classmates. A traditional “Hawan Ceremony” on the fourth day blessed the students, followed by words of encouragement from key faculty members. Dr. Lakshaya Aggarwal, Director of Academics, emphasized the institute’s commitment to helping students grow both personally and academically. Principal of Pharmacy Dr. Ashwani Dhingra, spoke about the importance of holistic growth, urging students to focus on emotional and social development alongside their studies. College Chairman, CA S.K. Jindal, encouraged students to take full advantage of the opportunities available in the institute, and Vice Chairperson, Ms. Indu Jindal, wished them success in their academic journey. The program concluded with a recreational trip to Kurukshetra, offering students an opportunity to connect and reflect on their new beginning. The combination of expert talks, fun activities, spiritual blessings, and a bonding trip gave the new students a well-rounded introduction to their lives at the Global Research Group of Institutions.
