Mata Savitri Devi Inter-School Sports Mania 2025 – Cricket Tournament Begins! 🏏
A thrilling three-day Inter-School Cricket Tournament kicked off today at Global Research Group of Institutions, Radaur, with 16 school teams from across the district participating.
🔹 Day 1 Highlights (25th Nov):
Five exciting matches were played among teams from Indian Public School, Radaur; Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Toprakala; Shri Krishna Public School, Khajuri; MDVM, Hafizpur; Amar Jyoti Sen. Sec. School, Kalri Jagir; Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Damla; Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Bahadurpur; Gayatri Sen. Sec. School, Khukhni; Maharaja Agrasen School, Gumthala and Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Bapa.
The event aims to foster fitness, discipline, teamwork, and true sportsmanship among students. The tournament opened with a tribute to India’s historic ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup victory led by Harmanpreet Kaur, inspiring all young players.
After the ceremonial flag hoisting, Chairman CA S. K. Jindal inaugurated the event and announced awards for outstanding performers.
Special guest Mr. Shashi Gupta, Founder of Ek Soch Nayi Soch, motivated the students and sponsored Real Juice in collaboration with Dabur India Ltd. for all participants. The first toss was conducted by Dr. Lakshya Aggarwal, Director & Head of the Organizing Committee, along with Dr. Ashwani Dhingra, Group Director, marking the official start of the tournament.
🏏 The remaining league matches, semi-finals, and final will continue over the next two days.
