Day 1 Highlights The opening day set a remarkable tone with thought-provoking sessions, insightful discussions, and inspiring messages that emphasized the crucial role of pharmacovigilance in ensuring patient safety.
Prof. Bikash Medhi (Professor, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh) shed light on the importance of vigilance in medicines and medical devices, seamlessly blending clinical practice with pharmacological insight. Dr. Vipul Bharti (Junior Resident, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh) delivered an impactful lecture on “The Role of Pharmacovigilance and Materiovigilance in Patient Safety.” His deep expertise and global recognition added unmatched value to the session. Mr. Jasvinder Saini (Assistant Professor, GRIP) provided a clear and engaging introduction to pharmacovigilance, setting a strong foundation for the week’s deliberations.
