National Pharmacy Education Day Celebration | Pharma Anveshan 2026
Global Research Institute of Pharmacy, Radaur, Yamuna Nagar celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day with great enthusiasm and academic spirit under the theme “Pharma Anveshan 2026 – Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice.” The event was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahadeva Lal Schroff, whose visionary efforts laid the foundation of modern pharmacy education in India.
The program commenced with an inspiring address by Principal Dr. Ashwani Kumar, who highlighted the significance of the day and encouraged students to uphold the legacy of Dr. M. L. Schroff by contributing to healthcare through innovation, knowledge, and professional excellence. Students were also shown a special message from Dr. Montu Kumar Patel, who motivated budding pharmacists to focus on entrepreneurship, skill development, and bridging the gap between academia and industry to build a strong pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Adding great value to the celebration, an insightful virtual expert session by Mr. Amit Kamboj, Managing Director of NBS Global Business Pvt. Ltd., introduced students to diverse career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector including Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Preclinical Research, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Intellectual Property Rights, and Drug Regulatory Affairs. He also discussed emerging healthcare business models and innovative digital platforms such as Pharm Easy, Practo, and ŌURA Health, inspiring students with real-world examples of how technology and entrepreneurship are transforming the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape. The session turned highly interactive as students enthusiastically asked questions and gained clarity about future career pathways.
The celebration further witnessed active participation from B. Pharmacy students through a series of engaging activities including poster competitions, virtual laboratory tours, patient counseling simulations, and a social media awareness campaign, highlighting the importance of pharmacy education and the vital role pharmacists play in strengthening healthcare systems.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Dr. Ashwani Kumar, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person for sharing his valuable insights and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members in making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
