The Global Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP) successfully organized an insightful Expert Talk on the topic “Challenges of Water Pollution in BBN Areas: Solutions from Local Biomass” on 22 April 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Arun Lal Srivastav, Assistant Director (Research Proposal and Grants) and Associate Professor (Environmental Science) at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. The talk highlighted the pressing issues of water pollution in BBN (Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh) industrial areas and emphasized sustainable, eco-friendly solutions using locally available biomass. Students and faculty members gained valuable knowledge about environmental challenges and innovative approaches to water purification.
